Event Spotlight – Medical Conference
Image Audiovisuals recently handled a prominent medical federation’s three-day annual meeting of 500 attendees, consisting of general sessions and breakout sessions. Since we were instructed to “liven” up the meeting, much pre-production went into designing graphics, animations, an opening video module, and themed lighting. The general session kicked off every morning with an upbeat opening video module tying all of the elements of the conference together - from awards and anniversary recognitions to quotes revealing the presenters’ passions and visions.
The meeting’s keynote speaker was the president of the American Medical Association, Dr. Nancy Nielsen, who kicked off the conference on the first day. Prior to her stage entrance, Image Audiovisuals played an opening video module that was designed in our Denver studios. The attendees were motivated through the use of visuals on the screens, intelligent lighting, and upbeat stereo mixed audio. The proceeding daily sessions were kicked off in a similar manner, but had different music, visuals and lighting themes.
It was a great feeling to tie together the federation’s mission and content with cutting-edge audiovisual systems. This meeting, from start to finish, was so much more than a mundane power point presentation with a podium microphone. The mood and tone set at the beginning of the conference created momentum that lasted until the meeting's final moments.
