Tech Tip - Go Green with Calibration

These days, everyone is looking for ways to go green, and to save some green. Did you know that proper calibration of LCD, plasma displays and projectors will result in a 20-35 percent reduction in energy usage? It will not only save energy, but it will also reduce viewer eye fatigue, improve picture quality and even prolong the life of the unit.

Depending upon the number of displays in your campus or business, proper calibration can result in substantial energy savings over time. On average, one ISF calibrated TV provides 183 kWh/yr saving per set, which equates to $153.00 per year in savings per unit.

For more information on saving money with calibration, or to see documented energy-saving results, please contact Craig Winterhof at 303-758-1818, or via e-mail at cwinterhof@imageav.com.
