Concerts for Kids’ Community Day

Thank you to all who volunteered your time on Saturday, May 30th for the 4th Annual Concerts for Kids’ Community Day. We accomplished all of our goals and more…and in record time!  We had a fabulous day–Mayor Hickenlooper kicked us off with a speech and then we hopped on the bus to The Hope Center.

We taped, caulked, painted, swept and organized the equivalent of a Safeway store – all in four hours…and this included lunch!  Had we had enough painting supplies, we would have finished a whole lot sooner! The food and beverages at the park topped off a great day.
